Mike Anchor: I have a 22# danforth bow anchor that came with my boat. I have 20 feet of chain and 150 feet of 1/2" rode. My aft anchor, a 16# Claw with 15 feet of chain and 150 feet of 1/2" rode as well. I will put the Claw on the bow when I get my roller system together, this winter. And yes, I DO want a roller system; I single hand most of the time and that would help me a lot! Rode wise, you can go one size down but I do off shore stuff so I carry and use 1\2" rode.... your call. If you attend Mead, make sure and have some fenders. All of us raft up and put out fenders. If you and I are rafted together, I have enough to use for the two of us. Sence we would be most likely aft anchored a little off shore, we could rft up and pool our resources. If you raft up with me, we would only need one aft anchor and that would be mine... save the money for something else. I hope this helps.... keep the questions flowing... Later, Dak ....
