I use to get nervous when I started out, then as I was on the water for a bt I was fine.
Then it was only starting out with heavier wind.
And sometimes first sail of the season...\\If your motor isn't reliable, How's your anchor?
A reliable anchor can alleviate a lot of worries of an unreliable motor.
Give lee hazards a big berth, think ahead and consider what could go wrong and what an alternative action could be..
And go out more and more and the jitters will fade into the background '
