I've been casting small lead pieces over the years in the same pot on the 'hot' burner of a an old two burner hot plate I used to cook on when I lived in my 77 square foot apartment in the 'old days'. I've made lead ducks for drafting, small ingots from loose lead, etc. Actually, I made whales as I did my own design for them. My 400 lbs of lead pigs are left overs from days when I actually did stuff.
