Alan, I got one of those "small hand pumps" as an adjunct to my anchor ball. It didn't work worth a damn'. I had to go to a full bicycle pump and THEN I had to either use it in the cockpit (exposing it to rust) or bent over inside the cabin, like an inchworm. Still, you bring up a good point. I suppose if I were to go to a bigger anchor ball, I'd get one of those 12-volt automobile tire inflator pumps and use that instead. The size I currently have while not perfect, is Good Enough. And in my on-going search for Simplicity in my Life; "Better" Is The Enemy Of "Good Enough". Food for thought, Charles Brennan
