In Response To: How to connect outboard alternator to charge battery... (Doug C.)

by hooking it up to your battery to complete the circuit. It will only produce power when there is a demand. No regulation needed. It is about 45 volts A/C which is converted to 12 volts DC by the rectifier (should be on there already) and you need to do nothing other than hook the wires to your battery. Have fun. Stephan.
