As Roger, Mark, and Jeff pointed out, it is definitely not a 26x hull. As to the issue of increased wetted surface that Todd and Jeff pointed out, I wonder how much the wetted surface would be increased if the ballast tank was left empty (compared to the wetted surface with water ballast, and without the amas). With the addition of the amas, I wouldn't think it would need water ballast anymore. I have to wonder how well the 26c hull will plane (even without ballast), compared to conventional trimaran hull, like a Corsair F24 or F27.
