I have two sailboats, the "3 Girl Crew" which I keep in a slip on Pleasure Island TX and a 20' O'day on a trailer (the "Sail-La-Vie"). I am getting my O'day ready to take to the B.E.E.R. cruise and plan on doing some weekend cruising in Galveston, Corpus, Matagorta bay, Lake Ponchatrain etc. If I have a hand held I can use it on both boats for now. I will eventually get a base mounted VHF for the "3 Girl Crew" I have too many projects going to get a $300 radio right now
