One reason why I sprung for the HX350S is for the option of a lapel mike. Leaving the radio clipped to my belt and having a remote mic clipped to my shirt collar or PFD would be real handy. Back in my land surveying days, we had 2 way commercial hand helds set up like that, and they were great, near hands free operation.
