self bailing cockpit

Hey Travis,

Quick question, since I haven't had a lot interest or responses from messing-about on this issue.

I am thinking about putting in a self draining cockpit sole. I am thinking it could drain to the motor well. I would put in a floor above the sole of the cockpit about 5" above the water line and slope it from the cuddy to the transom/motor well. Do you think that would be helpful and possible? I am also thinking about adding some tabernacles for my mast which will help in set up.

Just wondering.

I was thinking of something like the Bayraider by swallowboats which has a self draining cockpit.
