We never sail much in the summer because it's too hot, there's no wind and the lake is too crowded with powerboats. Sometimes we'll motor out to one of the islands near the marina and anchor so the kids can play in the water, but that's about it. The weather starts cooling off this time of year, but I'm coaching my son's baseball team which takes quite a bit of time. Sailing will be there forever, but he won't be playing baseball forever. My daughter is playing tennis, and her matches are at 1:30 every Saturday, right in the middle of the day. I wish I had time for more sailing, but it's just not as much of a priority as the other stuff we've got going on. We're all looking forward to our trip to the Lower Keys in April though. The kids got their first taste of snorkeling on a coral reef in the Bahamas this past winter and they're really excited about being able to do it from our boat.
